This makes the single-zone MRCOOL® DIY® a perfect choice for a space like a cozy bedroom or a renovated single-car garage, both of which tend to be smaller, more closed off spaces in need of HVAC. We’re incredibly excited about this addition to our single-zone MRCOOL® DIY® series, because it’s one that you have asked for, and it allows for so much more customization whenever it comes to your home comfort needs.
We’ve also added to our multi-zone series, as well. Our new 55k BTU DIY® Multi-Zone condenser can support up to 6 zones that equal up to 2290 square feet, meaning a whole entire home can be covered by the comfort of MRCOOL®. The customization options for this system are also increasing, because we are releasing a 6k BTU wall-mounted air handler designed for multi-zone installations. This addition allows you to heat and cool spaces that are too small for even a 9k BTU air handler, enabling you to enjoy perfect comfort in a space that is around 200 square feet. If you have a small spare bedroom, office, or garage that needs the superior comfort that only MRCOOL® can provide, this new air handler is the perfect solution.
Of course, we couldn’t end this announcement without talking about this system’s most important feature - the do-it-yourself installation. Even though we’ve switched refrigerants, we’ve kept the installation process just as hassle-free as it’s ever been. Our DIY® Quick Connect® Pre-Charged Line Sets make installing a MRCOOL® DIY® Ductless Mini-Split in your home quick and hassle-free! Once you select a spot for your condenser and drill a hole where you’ll be mounting your air handler, the only step left is to link your system’s line set to the condenser and air handler’s fittings.
